1. Our Club Information

Armada FC, an Accredited England FA club, has been an integral part of the local community since its establishment in 1954. Our mission is to blend sports seamlessly into the fabric of our community, offering a diverse range of competitive and recreational activities that cater to the interests of our members.

Initially affiliating with the Birmingham County FA in 2012, we joined the South Birmingham Sunday football league, achieving this milestone by September 2013.

Operating as an unincorporated entity since our inception, we aspire to evolve into a sustainable business model, leveraging grants and professionalising our operations under the guidance of Chairwoman Abida Bi and Club Secretary Shahid Khan.

AFC not only provides football opportunities for individuals aged 16 and above but also emphasises the cultivation of virtues such as sportsmanship and community spirit. Our weekly training sessions, held from September to April, aim to promote overall health and well-being while instilling ethical decision-making skills.

By attaining England FA approval, we anticipate numerous benefits including financial stability, deeper community engagement, access to grants, heightened volunteer participation, increased attendance, operational transparency, and enhanced appeal to sponsors.

With a strategic roadmap from 2013, Armada FC envisions significant growth through strategic initiatives and incremental progress, fostering positive change within both the club and its surrounding community.

Our committee members, Abida Bi as Chairwoman and Shahid Khan as Club Secretary, spearhead our efforts to realize these objectives. Football seasons typically run from September to April, featuring weekly mid-week training sessions aimed at promoting lifelong health and ethical decision-making.

Looking ahead, the creation of England FA approval promises a host of advantages, including financial security, closer community ties, access to grants, increased volunteer engagement, higher attendance rates, transparent operations, and enhanced attractiveness to sponsors. Our strategic plan outlines our vision and delineates the aims and objectives necessary to achieve our transformative goals. While this vision may require time and effort, Armada FC remains committed to effecting positive change through both significant initiatives and incremental steps.
