Armada FC last night had the honour of being nominated for the prestigious Community Celebration Awards, an event hosted by Sport Birmingham to recognise outstanding contributions in sports and physical activity. It was a proud moment for the club as three of our exceptional team members received individual nominations for their inspiring contributions:

Romay Francis was nominated for the Young Achiever Award, recognising his incredible achievements and contributions as a young individual (under 25) within the sport and physical activity community. His commitment to elevating not only his own abilities but also those of his peers truly embodies the spirit of this award.
Olaolu Erinfolami was nominated for the Inspirational Story Award, celebrating his remarkable journey overcoming a heart condition that once prevented him from playing football. Olaolu’s unwavering willpower and exemplary discipline have led him back to the pitch, where he continues to inspire others with his courage and determination.
Shahid Khan was nominated for the Outstanding Volunteer Award, honoring his exceptional dedication and service in sport and physical activity. Shahid’s contributions to Armada FC and the wider community have been a cornerstone of the club’s success, showcasing the profound impact of volunteerism in sports.
